«Λιθοβολούσες» returned to Serifos — its Cycladic premiere.

Two years after the research began around the women of the historic 1916 miners’ strike, the work returned to the place where it was born, at the invitation of the Association of Mega Livadi, Serifos — as image, sound and memory.
Marking 110 years since the historic strike, «Λιθοβολούσες» returned to Mega Livadi for its Cycladic premiere. The film illuminates the often invisible role of women in the Serifos miners’ uprising, with Aikaterini Valsamaki as its central figure.
A discussion with Sofia Dona followed the screening.
